HEALTH PROMOTING SCHOOLS

CONGRATULATIONS ST. MARYS - WE HAVE NOW ACHIEVED OUR SILVER HPS AWARD! WELL DONE!

St. Mary's has now achieved the Silver Health Promoting Schools Award.

At St. Mary's, we believe that to be truly a Health Promoting School we have to encourage all aspects of health - healthy body and mind.

To support this, along with the Eco Committee,we planned a Health/Eco week, which was held on the 31/3/08 - 4/4/08. This involved visits from lots of outside agencies who promoted ways to keep ourselves safe, fit and the benefits of being 'eco-aware'. Find out more on our 'Through the Year' section.
