They are doing games based learning for their topic called Cooking Mama and studying the novel The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark. In their games based learning topic cooking mama they have learned about kitchen safety, healthy eating, food from different countries, food in the past, where our food comes from, different food group. They were also learning about the owl who was afraid of the dark and have learned about dark and light, fireworks, owls and nocturnal animals .

There topic this term is the emergency services like police, Ambulance, fire brigade. There are learning what each service does, how they help us, what to call in an emergency. They have been learning the history about them and how much danger people are in.
