Term 1 They are studying Matilda by Roald Dahl. The children enjoyed the novel. They did loads of stuff including acrostic poems and made child repellent (well, design the covers and write down the ingredients!)They have also acted out a scene about Matilda’s life.
They made puppets of Matilda and her family. P4/5 have also found out that their family will not be like Matilda's so they should love and respect them.

Term 2 They Studying African Animals and they have learned how to make Safari Jeeps, how to read maps and looked at maps from Lanark to Africa!

Term 3

Africa
P4/5 had loads of fun learning about Africa and the animals that live there. They did lots of things including. Tinga Tinga painting, designed and made safari trucks, and learned how to tell the difference between an Asian elephant and an African elephant.
