LANIMER DAY

Every year in Lanark there is a massive parade through Lanark called Lanimers. For Lanimers there is a Lanimer Queen and a court. The Lanimer Queen this year is from Robert Owen Primary School.
St. Mary's Lanimer maids this year are Lucy Donaldson, Emma Henderson and Gemma MacItyre.
Every year, every school and group in Lanark enters a theme. Last year
our theme was Elements of air, fire and water. There is a lot of work involved in the lorry and our parents work relentlessly to ensure its success. If you would like to volunteer your time please contact the school who will put in touch with parents concerned. On Lanimer night everyone performs in the Lanimer Concert in the memorial hall.
This year our theme is 'The Homecoming'. Everyone involved has put in lots of hard work and we wish them every success!
