WHAT IS FOOTBALL FRIDAY?

Well, it's a football tournament on every friday where 8 team from Primary 4-7 compete for a box chocolates and a cup. Here is what happens:

3 X15 minute games are played at snack time and lunch time.
If you win you get 3 points, if you draw each team gets 1 point, and if you lose you get no points. The teams are split into 2 groups of 4 and fight for a place in the semi final, only the top 2 teams in each of the groups are put through to the semi final for a chance to win.

Last term (term 1) we ran a football compition and the team that won was Holland captained by Jamie Henderson who won 4-1 over fellow finalists U.S.A captained by Charlie Hodge. Sadly Jamie doesn’t go to the School but his sub Allan scored all 4 of the goals to win Holland the cup. Congratulations to Holland!
