South Lanarkshire Council
ST. MARY'S NURSERY CENTRE
The school has a nursery, which provides a learning environment for young children.

It is a 50 week establishment, and has places for 42 children, am and 34 children, pm. 10 of these places are for children aged 2 years. Application forms for places at the Nursery are available from either the school office or directly from the Nursery.

There are three Nursery intakes per year and applications may be made at any time. Under South Lanarkshire Council’s Admission Procedures, only one application per child may be made for a nursery place. Parents from any area may apply to attend the Nursery, but this does not mean children will automatically transfer to primary education in St Mary’s Primary School.

There are 3 nursery intakes per year and applications may be made at any time.

Intake 1 - August - closing date 30th April
Intake 2 - January - closing date 30th November
Intake 3 - April - closing date 31st January

To find out more about the nursery, please contact the school. A child’s Birth Certificate and 2 proofs of residence must be produced at the time of application. Should there be more applications than places, parents will receive information about Ballot procedures. St Mary’s Nursery Centre also offers extended hours; to find out more about the nursery, please contact the school.
