PARENTS AS PARTNERS

It is our aim to work together with parents and carers to provide a happy, safe environment where children will feel secure, relaxed and confident.
Settling into Nursery and leaving a parent/carer can be a stressful experience for a young child. We are happy for you to stay until your child is ready to be left. Please be guided by the staff - we will try to make the parting easy for you both.
Please share information about your child with us - you know him/her best. We in turn will be happy to discuss your child’s progress - either at a mutually convenient time or at the parental consultations which happen in November and May. A written report is issued to parents in May/June and the information contained in this report is also shared with the receiving primary school.
We also welcome parents to spend a session with us in the Nursery or support us on outings - Please speak with nursery Staff for further information.
