St George's Singers generally tour every year, alternating between tours in the UK and foreign tours. Tours are entirely voluntary, but normally well over half the choir (and often many more) participate. This gives us the opportunity to sing glorious music in splendid, world-famous venues, and get to know other members of the choir socially. Friends and partners usually accompany us - so it’s a great chance for a holiday as well. |

2018 tour to North Wales
|
St George’s Singers Tour Friday 25th to Monday 28th May 2018 The St George’s Singers 2018 tour will be to North Wales. Staying just outside Bangor, the choir will sing at some exciting venues including the grounds of Caernarfon Castle, the Great Hall at Penrhyn Castle, and St Asaph Cathedral as well as churches in Bangor and Colwyn Bay with a tour dinner at the rather grand Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon. We are looking forward to visiting one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, and singing at some impressive and lovely venues.
